Last weekend, my sister casually

Last weekend, my sister casually mentioned that my last post here came on June 26. It’s been a conscious step back, actually, as I worked to assess priorities, time management, and what I’d like to say.

For now, that means a more formal, more permanent step away.

To say I have loved coming here and writing is a gross understatement. I have absolutely loved it, truly and thoroughly, and the opportunity to spill my thoughts, recount miles, set goals, and interact with people via the blogosphere. That said, it’s time consuming and life lately is kind of in woah mode.

I took on a new position at work, am launching into a part-time business consulting for Rodan + Fields skincare, started training for the New York City Marathon, am nearly eight weeks through BBG workouts with plans to start over when I complete week 12. Plus, you know — wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend-related responsibilities. To be clear: loving all of it, but holy cow, 24-hours a day.

To be my best, most attentive self, and to give the time and attention my family and work and world away from the desk deserve, it’s time to click publish on my final post.

Thank you for reading, and I hope to see you on the streets soon, somewhere between a start and finish, and always moving forward.
