Happy Tuesday, friends.
I meant to post this last night, but was too busy enjoying my rest day by celebrating with lobster and ice cream cake. We had a little family birthday shin-dig last night and I’m pretty sure I laughed hard enough to burn at least a few of the calories consumed.
Without a pre-scheduled date with the gym, it would be frighteningly easy to fall off the wagon as a result of a glass of red and bite of ice cream cake too many. I am much better about sticking to my workout routine when I have a schedule written directly onto my calendar. For the past month I committed to spin classes with my gym-buddy, Rebecca, and I’ve made it to the spin studio 2-3 times a week with no trouble at all. Now I’m trying to sit down on Mondays to plan my week, much like Nik and I started getting serious about eating well and wasting less by sitting down to plan meals for the week on Sunday mornings. Here’s what’s on the agenda for the next six days:

|Wednesday – Spin|
|Thursday – Swim|
|Friday – Run|
|Saturday – Spin|
|Sunday – Run 8-9 miles|
